At Boutique Events we specialize in creating memorable events for our clients, from start to finish, with a strong focus on brand identity. We use a 360 degree method, which is based on looking at events with a marketing eye. What this means is we look out project as whole, not just one event day. It should be an extension of your marketing, and fit within the goals of your organization.
We sit with you to flush out the event goal. From the moment of concept creation, we examine your goals to strategically deliver the best fit for you. Often times discussion can bring about new ideas, or identify potentially missed opportunities.
Our full service approach means we go one step further then just the actual event and offer media relations to help get the word out. Whether it is managing a social media campaign, getting press releases created and distributed, managing media requests, finding spokespeople or creating buzz worthy promotion to boost ticket sales, we look to complete the circle of your event, something that is often over looked when the planning process happens.
We believe the event truly is an experience that starts the moment the message is delivered, and continues long after the event concludes. This is why we strive to create unique elements to deliver your message, high energy gatherings to celebrate your brand and a buzz around it to get people talking. We break the cycle of just delivering what people expect and stretch the imagination of what can be done.
Listen. Plan. Execute. It’s that simple. Always on time. Always on budget.
Olivia Pilip, Principal, Boutique Events
For Olivia Pilip, there are only two certainties in life: the confidence that comes with a great pair of heels, and the thrill fabulous new project. With her undying love of shoes proven beyond doubt, Olivia recently turned her focus from the corporate world to Boutique Events, launching her event planning company after over a decade in the sales and marketing industry.
Olivia’s passion for events began in her teens, serving banquets for a local catering company. A couple of weddings, a bundle of contagious energy and more than a few satisfied guests later, she was hooked. A diploma in hotel and restaurant management came next, followed by various sales and catering stints in the hospitality industry. After relocating to Vancouver, Olivia completed her education in marketing and landed a coveted role at dmg world media (a global leader in consumer events), where she coordinated and executed consumer events for 50 to 50,000 people.
Now residing in Edmonton, Olivia vacated her role as director of marketing at Go Auto (overseeing marketing plans for over 18 different location brands) to pursue her long-awaited dream of starting her own event planning and marketing company. With this goal in hand, Boutique Events was born. On her infrequent days off, Olivia can be found checking out the newest venues and eateries in Edmonton, or playing at the park with her adorable babies Birk and Brody, all while wearing her most sophisticated pair of shoes.
In addition to her dedication to career and family, giving back to the community is of the utmost importance to Olivia. She is a active volunteer for various events and organizations. Most notable is her role of Director on the board of Kids Up Front Edmonton and event chair for the annual Denim & Dice fundraiser for KUF.
